“I have always loved you”

Malachi 1:2 – “I have always loved you”, says the Lord.

Meditate on that! Through everything, he has always loved you. In all your troubles He loved you. Now, He loves you. He loved you yesterday. He loved you last year. He loved you when you didn’t make the best choice. He loved you that time you failed. He loved you when you were at your weakest, lowest, furthest point.

Say it: “Even when I didn’t serve him He loved me. Before I knew Him… He loved me. In rebellion, he loved me. No matter who has, didn’t, or doesn’t love me; HE loved me.” He knew from the very beginning what your life would include and he chose in the very beginning to love you.

Or maybe you are at a point where you could say this: “He has always loved THEM. No matter how much I disagree with their past. No matter how much we fought. No matter how much fault they own. No matter who is right. No matter what I see. He still LOVED them – through all the wrong I’ve ever seen and all the judgements I make – He loved them when they were weak and when they didn’t live up to my expectations.”

Notice it isn’t “I will always love you” meaning from this point on, but from the VERY beginning! “I HAVE ALWAYS loved you!” Bonus: He is omnipresent so he always will.

Extra Goodness:

Psalms 139:16-18 “You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up in the morning, you are still with me!”

This is for you! Know that He knows the real you and He made you that way. He has awesome plans for you and He thinks wonderful, precious thoughts of you!
